Do you like Tango? Good Tango Music?

I present Project Gotan - they're actually one of the most famous Tango musical groups - they just sound awesome.  The music captures the spirit and feeling of the tango in a very modern, expansive, yet personal way.  Love em.  (You don't even need to understand spanish to love the music, but it certainly helps :))

We decided it was time to chop Hannah's hair. We could not keep it out of her face. Ponytails helped but it was so long she invariably ended up with food in her hair and it didn't always get clean. This meant it was always tangled and she often didn't want me to comb it because it took awhile to get all of the knots and gunk out. So, we decided to cut it to a more managable length. Here are some before and after pictures.

It ended up a little shorter than I planned and took another day to even it up. I got it halfway cut and she told me, "It's okay, I done." I did manage to get it mostly one length, short and then today was finally able to try to even it up. And I thought cutting boys hair was rough. This was my first attempt at cutting girls hair since cutting my friend Sam's hair in college (and that was with regular scissors, I still don't know why she asked me to do it). So anyway, now Hannah's hair is much shorter and it doesn't stay as well in little ponytails but it can't get as much food in it.

Hard Rock Celtic Music

I'm going to try to post more on this website, for notes more than anything else, just so that we can keep up with things in life and remember them.

As for the title, I'm listening to last.fm a lot lately - the celtic music channel is just about as good as the thistle and shamrock radioshow for learning about cool new music in that area.  One of the cool songs I heard was from the band Eluveitie - hard rock celtic music.

Take a listen - it's like listening to the sound track of some cool medieval fantasy movie.

Trip to the park - Hannah on the swing, with Michelle riding Sam in the background (with a little help from Dad). This is to defy winter, so that Spring will come all the sooner!
