We finally have a mostly completed basement (only a few small projects remain--bathroom, track lighting, closet doors). I say finally but it went lots faster since we decided to pay someone to do something they are good at while Justin started his own company and does something he is good at and enjoys. I just direct and say what I want and keep small children from getting into too much trouble. The pictures are while the carpeting was going in but give you the overall effect and it's what I have, so for those who have been wondering, this is the finished look. Now just imagine it filled again with toys and such and you can get an idea of the current look (and the lights and outlet covers are on now).
Here is the family room, looking toward the stairs so you can see the contrast wall.

This one is my room, a nice lavender room. My sewing is set up and I have to say it is a nice set-up.
The red room, it's actually called raspberry jam is really pretty. We didn't have the lights in yet so it looks more red in the picture. This room is the toy room, the walk in closet is filled with toys now, spilling out into the room. I like that they all just go in this room. Simple clean up.

I love it! You even get your own sewing room - and I have my stuff stored in the garage! :) The colors are great. Maybe someday I will get to see it in person!
Love the sewing room -- makes me want to move William in with Jeffrey in order to get my own space (but . . . nah).
