We decided it was time to chop Hannah's hair. We could not keep it out of her face. Ponytails helped but it was so long she invariably ended up with food in her hair and it didn't always get clean. This meant it was always tangled and she often didn't want me to comb it because it took awhile to get all of the knots and gunk out. So, we decided to cut it to a more managable length. Here are some before and after pictures.

It ended up a little shorter than I planned and took another day to even it up. I got it halfway cut and she told me, "It's okay, I done." I did manage to get it mostly one length, short and then today was finally able to try to even it up. And I thought cutting boys hair was rough. This was my first attempt at cutting girls hair since cutting my friend Sam's hair in college (and that was with regular scissors, I still don't know why she asked me to do it). So anyway, now Hannah's hair is much shorter and it doesn't stay as well in little ponytails but it can't get as much food in it.
